The Reason Campaign

To mark Labor Day 2021, SAFAL Group’s Internal Communications department set out to relay a series of appreciation, congratulatory as well as motivational messaging to staff members across the businesses for their contribution in effecting the organization’s strategic pillars and living the SAFAL Way values. We conceptualized a campaign that identified the month of May as an Official Employee Appreciation Month under the banner “The Reason”. The campaign strategy was anchored on three main categories.

This is the Reason – Messaging shared by staff members across all Businesses on why they love being part of the SAFAL Group family

You are the Reason – Messaging shared by senior and middle level SAFAL Group Leadership teams targeted at their various Business Units and departments. We branded, packaged and shared these messages as reels and also as individual e-shots throughout the month of May. For sustenance, we shared all the messages on the One SAFAL TV YouTube page under different playlists.

Choose to Challenge

As part of their 2021 International Women’s Day celebrations, SAFAL Group’s Internal Communications department commissioned us to come up with an impactful campaign that would echo the Group’s efforts in assuring equality in the workplace, and that gender rights were upheld at all levels within the organization. Our concept rallied in line with the global IWD 2021 theme, #ChooseToChallenge.

Led by the Group CEO and members of the Group Management Team, select staff members from across all the Group’s business units. shared their messages of why they choose to challenge gender stereotypes and other ills that impede efforts towards equality in the workplace.

We branded, packaged and shared these messages as reels and also as individual e-shots throughout the month of May. For sustenance, we shared all the messages on the One SAFAL TV YouTube page under different playlists.

Choose to challenge town halls

These townhall hybrid events were safe spaces for women of SAFAL to share their views on equality at the workplace and also their suggestions on how the Group can improve on women empowerment. Our team created an ident and overall theme for the hybrid workshops as well as shared some pre-event discussion points.
